About SolderLab
SolderLab is an electronics product development studio that takes hardware ideas from concept to deployable product.
Most hardware projects fail not because the idea is wrong, but because they get split across too many hands — a firmware freelancer here, a PCB house there, an enclosure vendor somewhere else, with no one owning the whole system. SolderLab exists to close that gap. We design the circuit, write the firmware, build the enclosure, assemble the prototype, and coordinate manufacturing — as one connected process, not four disconnected handoffs.
Our work spans embedded systems (ESP32, STM32, RP2040), industrial connectivity (RS-485 Modbus, LTE, MQTT), custom PCB design, 3D-printed and injection-ready enclosures, and full device assembly. Recent work includes a three-tier industrial IoT gateway with LTE failover and cloud telemetry, and a health-monitoring wearable built for real-world ruggedness and battery efficiency.
If you have a product that needs to go from idea to something you can hold, test, and ship — that's the work we do.
Meet the Founder
Dhanesh Baheti founded SolderLab after years of hands-on hardware work — building, breaking, and rebuilding electronics since middle school, long before it became his profession.
He currently leads product development at MyPerro, where he designed the hardware architecture for a smart wearable dog collar, handling everything from battery system design to waterproof assembly. He has also worked as a contract Industrial IoT Engineer for manufacturing clients, building connected monitoring systems for industrial environments — combining hardware, firmware, connectivity, and cloud integration into a single, well-engineered system rather than separate disconnected pieces.
His background spans the full hardware stack: PCB design, embedded firmware on ESP32 and STM32 platforms, industrial protocols like Modbus RTU and MQTT, enclosure design, and manufacturing coordination. That range means projects don't get split across multiple vendors who don't talk to each other — one person understands the system end to end, from the first schematic to the finished device in your hand.
He has been recognized at IIT Bombay Techfest, the Atal Innovation Mission, and INSPIRE Awards for applied engineering work. Every project at SolderLab runs through this same approach — fewer handoffs, more ownership, and a builder's attention to whether something actually works in the field, not just on paper.
